When Mary Grace asked me to take her maternity photos, I was so excited because I had been wanting to photograph a couple! This was my opportunity and I reallllly didn’t want to mess it up!
Our session was outside in December at the Detroit Institute of Arts and it was COLD!! But, Mary Grace and Chris handled the session like pros. Mary Grace looked absolutely stunning in her white gown and I gotta say, her husband, Chris, is one of the nicest guys I’ve ever met. He was sooo supportive and enthusiastic! In between shots, he'd wrap Mary Grace up in a warm coat and his admiration for her was really special to watch. When I showed them shots I had taken from the back of my camera, Chris would say things like, “Oh yea, that’s amazing! She looks beautiful!” You know the memes that are like, “find a guy who looks at you the way Bradley Cooper looks at Lady Gaga." Well, find a guy who looks at you the way Chris looks at Mary Grace <3
